This recipe is to die for! We made this for Brooklyn's birthday party. We made Whole Wheat Pita and bought some whole grain chips and ate it as a dip! Here are some changes to the recipe I made:
1) I justed used 4 chicken breast instead of a whole chicken
2) I used only one can of chicken broth and one can water.... I only had one can!
3) very little cayenne pepper was added as little ones were eating this chili at the party
4) I used salsa instead of rotel... becasue that is what I had
5) Used a can of fat free evap milk instead of cream... cheaper and healthier
This can be eaten as chili soup or as a dip. So stinkin good!!!

This was sooooo yummy! If I might make a suggestion. If you have a pampered chef stone, cut homemade whole wheat tortillas and slice them up and bake for just a few minutes in the oven and they make the best chips. Just FYI.
ReplyDeleteThank for the suggestion Lynette! Wes and I made some baked chips a while back, but we need to do it again with our homemade tortillas, especially now that I have a pizza stone!
