This recipe makes a mean pizza! I also use it to make calzones and hot pocket type things that we call "kraut burgers" (filled with hamburger and cabbage... may sound weird but is SOOOO good).

Lars and I make homemade pizzas a lot, and we almost always use a combination of flours...some white fine flour and some wheat textured flour. It's a good compromise ;).
ReplyDeleteTry this crust recipe! It is wonderful. It is chewy and has great flavor and using whole wheat is much healthier than the white flour. We love pizza and with this crust, some chicken breast, spaghetti sauce, bell pepper, onion, tomatoes and low fat cheese... the taste is almost sinful!!
