Whole Wheat Egg Noodles

Here is the recipe for some fabulous noodles. Thank my wonderful sister-in-law, Annie!

Homemade Whole Wheat Egg Noodles:

2 cups whole wheat flour
2 eggs
4 Tbsp water

Place 1 1/2 c. flour in a bowl and crack egg into it. Add water and mix. As needed, gradually add flour until dough is still moist but not sticky, clings to itself and is the proper consistency to roll out.

Lightly sprinkle counter top w/ flour.
Roll out dough to desired thickness, appx. 1/4 - 1/3 inches thick. Use pizza cutter or pasta slicer to cut out noodles. You can make them any size you want. We think the thicker the better!

Place noodles in simmering pot of soup. When the noodles float to the top, they are done!

These noodles are the best touch to homemade soup! Enjoy!
