First EVER Giveaway at Momma Chef!!!!

*****Giveaway now CLOSED***** go here to see the winner***

I love lOvE LOVE this time of the year.

I love the fall colors, the cooler weather, Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas.  I love the heightened sense of gratitude and charity this time of year.  My husband and I love doing charity for others and each year we do a big charity project as a family to help teach our young children the importance of serving others.

This year we are making nativity sets and are selling them with all profits going toComfort Quilts .

The quilts are made for the families of fallen police officers and fire fighters and are made from their actual uniforms.  I am the wife of a police officer and I hope I never am in the position to be receiving a Comfort Quilt, but I do know that these quilts are absolutely cherished by those receiving them and that they are a tangible reminder of their loved ones.

So the GIVEAWAY....

I am giving away one of THESE nativity sets.

Want to win it???

Here is what you need to do for up to 5 chances to win (leave a separate comment on THIS post for each entry):

1) Become a follower of Momma Chef

3) Tweet about them.

4) Blog about them and tell everyone about them.

5) Go visit the Comfort Quilt Website and check out the AWESOME charity work they are doing.

You have until Friday at 11:59pm.  The winner will be announced on Saturday morning!

NOW GO SPREAD THE WORD!

If you would like a set, please please email me at wsbjensen@gmail.com.  They come in black or brown and are $15 per set.  Each set is made from solid pine and is packaged up in a cute paper sack with ribbon and a tag detailing the cause.

The Nativity Pattern was created over HERE.  Thank you Melinda for letting us use it to help others!

  26. I'm a new follower! I love Nativities. They are my favorite Christmas decoration. The Comfort Quilts are an amazing idea. Thank you to your husband for his service. It may not be military, but our police and firefighters need to be thanked for the job they do as well.

  37. I am someone who cherishes handmade items with my whole heart and I can only imagine the comfort that these quilts give to the families. I noticed that they made one, as well as some other things, for the Chief of the Lake Oswego Police Department. Hits too close to home.
